Our Patients Say

This is the by far the best dental experience that I have experienced! I used to dread going to the dentist but going to Dr. Joshua Vang has changed all of that . He is engaging, kind, and thoughtful, not to mention that the is an excellent dentist! Cherokee Dental and Dr. Joshua Vang are simply the best!

Had a tooth that all the dental clinics I went to all said I needed a root canal. But Joshua was able to fix my tooth without doing root canal. Great, honest, and excellent skills.

I hadn't seen a dentist for 17 years, the first practice I went to after my dental hiatus  was not clean and reminded me of a dental chop shop ,so I listened to my wife and switched to Cherokee. The building is clean, the techs are nice, and Dr. Joshua Vang did an amazing pain free job on the first cavities I've ever had filled. Thanks Dr. Joshua Vang and company!
It just, they listen to you, they understood my need.

- Mike H

This is the best dentistry I have ever had. Use to hate the dentist, but Dr. Joshua Vang, and all that work there are so pleasant, kind, and talented. No pain, and fun to go see them. Thanks Cherokee dental team.

Top Quality Care

We believe in treating and caring for patients like family and strive to achieve the highest quality of service by providing the newest, most innovative and effective treatment methods possible.

Dental Exams & Cleaninigs

A comprehensive dental exam as well as a prophy cleaning are both designed to keep your oral health and smile looking its best. Cleanings are done by registered hygienists who clean and scale away hardened plaque (tartar) as well as stains from the teeth. The teeth are then examined for any signs of decay and other intraoral problems.

Dental Fillings

A dental filling is designed to replace one or more surfaces that have been decayed in a tooth caused by bacteria. At our office, we are able to restore your teeth with composite resins or amalgams (silver) restorations.

Fluoride Treatments

Fluoride treatments at the right levels are ideal for patients who want an extra level of protection against cavities. Because cavities are often a result of improper brushing, poor diet, medication or a combination of all, fluoride treatments are a way to help remineralize teeth that are breaking down.

Periodontal Scaling and Root Planing

Scaling and root planing is a more extensive type of cleaning that requires cleaning below the surfaces of your gum tissue where a more than normal amount of bacteria or plaque resides. When bacteria proliferates below the gum tissue, it causes inflammation, boneloss and is called Periodontal disease or “gum disease”.

Sealants

Sealants are used to protect your teeth from decay and deep staining. The back teeth often have deep grooves, pits and fissures that can be difficult to keep clean. This is why the posterior teeth, especially the chewing surfaces, are often susceptible to tooth decay.
